Update on VA Amber Alert

Two-year-old A'Mario Stevens was returned safely to his grandmother this morning. Police say at about 6:30 AM, A'Mario's grandmother got a phone call from the child's father, saying A'Mario was outside. The grandmother checked, and A'Mario was sitting on the front porch. Police say A'Mario appeared to be in good health.

The Danville Police Department is still looking for A'Mario's father, Lamarcus Childress for his role in A'Mario's disappearance, and other unrelated charges. They are also making arrangements to cancel the Amber Alert.

There is a news conference scheduled for 10:30 A.M., where we hope to learn more information. Watch Newschannel 10 at Noon, and saty with wsls.com for new information.
